Concrete floors covered by films and coatings such as epoxies, urethanes and waxes are temporary and subject to delamination, scratching, and peeling that require constant reapplication and repeated expense.
The Ashford Formula takes a different approach, penetrating the concrete and causing a chemical reaction leading to the formation of crystals and filling the natural pores and voids in the concrete, densifying and hardening the concrete’s wear surface internally into a solid mass.

The formation of internal crystalline growth caused by the Ashford Formula internally seals and locks up concrete dust from within. Unlike floor films or coatings this internal reaction is permanent and cannot be scratched, peeled and worn out.

The permanently sealed pores on the concrete surface eliminates dusting brought about by efflorescence or the outward migration of internal concrete salts.
Due to the increase in abrasion resistance, the surface will not powderize, chalk or dust when abraded by human or vehicular traffic.

Over time, Ashford Formula treated steel troweled smooth concrete floors develop a permanent and attractive marble like sheen with regular cleaning. Instead of eroding or wearing away, the floors look better through time.

The Ashford Formula increases the durability and abrasion resistance of concrete floors. Independent testing show that an Ashford Formula treated floor will be 32% harder within the first 30 minutes of treatment.

When used immediately after concrete finishing, the Ashford Formula acts as a Curing Agent by slowing the outward migration of water reducing shrinkage, cracking and hairline checking.
